Planta 5ª
28004 Madrid

Opened in 2000, Jones Day Madrid is a full-service office with more than 40 locally-qualified Spanish lawyers and significant experience handling a wide variety of national and cross-border transactions and disputes. Madrid Office lawyers are fluent in English and Spanish, as well as other languages relevant in the business arena, and many are recognized by legal directories such as Chambers, The Legal 500, and Best Lawyers.

Our Madrid lawyers provide a range of business law advice in areas including M&A; Banking & Finance (including Structured & Derivative Products); Global Disputes; Real Estate (including urban planning and environmental issues); Business Restructuring & Reorganization; Investigations & White Collar Defense; Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Security; Capital Markets; Antitrust & Competition Law and other regulatory matters; Intellectual Property; Tax, and Labor & Employment. We advise companies from many industry sectors, including energy, financial services, infrastructure and construction, technology, telecom and media, defense, automotive, real estate, healthcare, consumer products and retail, among others.

Through Jones Day's One Firm Worldwide approach, our lawyers are integrated into our global organization of more than 2,500 lawyers in offices across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. This affords Spain-based businesses looking to expand globally with the depth and experience of one of the world's largest law firms and seamless access to substantial legal resources wherever needed, whether in Spain, or around the world.

The Madrid Office team works closely with our lawyers in Latin America to provide legal services to Spanish corporations in the region. We are one of the few U.S. firms with a presence in Spain, and with a simultaneous presence in Latin America. Our mix of practices in Spain and in the United States, and our geographic reach in the Americas, make us an ideal choice in the Spanish marketplace for deals involving all three regions or, in general, for any investment by Spanish companies in the United States.

The Madrid Office is also integrated in the Firm's European network of offices, which includes more than 400 lawyers in Paris, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Brussels, London, Milan, Moscow, Munich, and Amsterdam.

The office is situated in the centre of the city in Paseo de Recoletos 37-41, next to the Plaza de Colón. Barajas Airport is about 14 km from the office and the taxi fee is approximately 25€.
