"Bryan brings us a wealth of experience counseling clients on many types of complex transactions," said Brett Barragate, who co-leads Jones Day's Banking, Finance & Securities Practice. "In particular, his experience in the oil & gas, manufacturing, and telecommunications sectors make him a great fit for our practice and for the Houston Office in particular."
Mr. Brown has represented public and start-up companies in various industries, including oil and gas exploration and production, oil field services/drilling, other energy-related industries, biotechnology, health care, healthy living, financial services, telecommunications, information technology, automotive, and industrial and manufacturing. He counsels clients in the upstream, midstream, oilfield services, and renewable energy sectors regarding acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and a wide-range of investments and commercial agreements.
"Alfredo has a well-earned reputation for delivering exceptional client service to clients engaged in very complex energy deals," said Jeff Schlegel, who leads Jones Day's Energy Practice. "His experience in both the U.S. and in Latin America give him insights that will be very valuable to our clients considering transactions in the energy sector. I look forward to working with him.
Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Ramos frequently travels to Latin America to represent his clients’ business interests and advise on numerous areas of business in Spanish, including oil, gas, and energy matters.
