Dimiter Arsov advises national and international clients on various aspects of European law and international trade law. His practice focuses on a wide range of international trade-related issues, namely international restrictive measures, export controls, national customs rules, and regulatory compliance involving ESG (environmental, social & governance) and AML (anti-money laundering).
Dimiter also advises global clients on environmental developments in the European Union (EU), including on the Conflict Minerals Regulation. And he closely follows developments related to sanctions in major jurisdictions (EU, the United Kingdom, and the United States).
Prior to joining Jones Day, Dimiter gained experience at the Court of Justice of the European Union and at an international law firm.
