Opened in 2016, the Brisbane Office is Jones Day's third of four offices in Australia. The Firm's Australian offices have more than 90 lawyers who practice Australian law and provide a wide range of services for clients, including in litigation, projects and infrastructure, M&A, private equity, intellectual property, and restructuring and insolvency.
The Firm has been active in Queensland for a number of years having acted for clients involved in major coal seam gas and coal projects in Queensland and represented clients involved in major disputes in Queensland. The Brisbane Office will focus on M&A, projects and infrastructure, and project-related disputes, with an emphasis on the energy and resources, construction, tourism, property, and agriculture sectors.
