Nine Jones Day lawyers named in Who’s Who Legal: Investigations 2018 Report

Seven Jones Day lawyers have been named in Who's Who Legal's Investigations 2018: Analysis. This report, produced in collaboration with Global Investigations Review, profiles 558 leading global practitioners from 269 firms. Jones Day's seven individual distinctions position it as one of a select group of recognized leading firms by number of lawyers listed. The Jones Day lawyers given this accolade were Charles Carberry (New York), Richard H Deane Jr (Atlanta), Daniel E Reidy (Chicago), Sion Richards (London), Peter J Romatowski (Washington), Brian A Sun (Los Angeles), and Aldo Verbruggen (Amsterdam).

Who's Who Legal has also published Who's Who Legal: Investigations – Future Leaders, which ranks the most eminent lawyers under 45 active in the field of investigations. Hank Bond Walther (Washington) and Emmanuel Ubiñas (Dallas) are featured in the first-ever edition of this report, which recognizes 114 lawyers "tipped to become the go-to names on matters regarding investigations, anti-corruption and white-collar crime…". Mr Walther is ranked in the report's Most Highly Regarded table, having "impressed [with his] knowledge of the law, his understanding of how prosecutors will think and react, and his ability to give clear, risk-assessed advice without being intimidated." Recognized as a rising star, Mr Ubiñas is noted as being "widely praised for his skill in leading Latin America-related investigations, often with complex Spanish language aspects."
