Jones Day’s Andrew Levine named a 2017 Law360 MVP in Private Equity

December 2017

Andrew Levine, a partner and co-leader of the Firm’s Private Equity Practice, has been named a 2017 "MVP" in the Private Equity category by the legal publication Law360. This is the second consecutive year Mr. Levine has received this recognition. The MVP awards honor elite attorneys for their successes in high-stakes litigation, significant deals or complex global matters in the previous year.

Mr. Levine has been the lead lawyer on global transactions for both private equity and strategic participants in a wide range of industries. He has advised on more than $7.5 billion in transactions during the Law360 reporting period and his recent work includes advising EagleTree Capital on its $525 million acquisition of CORSAIR and acting for ABM in its $1.25 billion acquisition of GCA Services Group from affiliates of Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. and Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division.

In the profile, Mr. Levine said that working with "a deal team of Jones Day lawyers from around the world and various offices, and keeping all that together, brings the secret sauce of Jones Day . . .[and] really shows what we bring to the table."
