Jones Day Partner Elizabeth Kessler receives Moritz College of Law Distinguished Alumni Award

Elizabeth (Liza) Kessler, Partner-in-Charge of the Columbus Office and a member of the Business & Tort Litigation Practice, recently received The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law's 2023 Distinguished Alumni award. She was recognized for exceptional achievement in the legal profession and for her outstanding service to the college and the community. She currently serves as Board Chair of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority and the Columbus School for Girls, and on the boards of The Ohio State University, The Center for Healthy Families, and the Wexner Center Foundation.

Ms. Kessler has more than 30 years of experience in complex litigation including multijurisdictional cases and class actions. Her practice includes the defense of global manufacturers of medical devices, vehicles, paints, and chemicals in cases involving disease causation and economic damage models.
