Braden McCurrach joins Jones Day as partner in Corporate Practice

Braden McCurrach has joined the Firm as a partner in the Corporate Practice. He will be based in the New York Office.

Mr. McCurrach advises companies on a wide range of complex transactions, including public and private mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, tender offers, spinoffs, and joint ventures, as well as distressed M&A. He also has significant experience advising boards on governance matters, including in connection with proxy contests and shareholder activism, and has advised a number of companies in successful defenses against activist campaigns.

At Jones Day, Mr. McCurrach joins the Firm's global Corporate Practice, which encompasses M&A and Private Equity. Mr. McCurrach earned his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and his undergraduate degree from Duke University. He was named as a "Key Individual" for his work in M&A: Large Deals by The Legal 500 US.
